In Loving Memory of Marcia Eichholz Silver
October 16, 1939 – July 21, 2024
Dr. Marcia E. Silver, age 84 of Lake Mary, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by Family on July 21, 2024. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Marcia Silver was born on October 16, 1939, in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated with a Doctorate from Florida International University in 1996 with a degree in Psychology. Throughout her life, she was a Wife and homemaker to her Husband and three sons. After her sons were older, she pursued her dreams of becoming a doctor and teacher becoming a Professor of Psychology at Florida International University. Her passions for the arts, music, literature, and travel underscored her life and her life's passions were passed down to her children. She was an athlete having run in several Orange Bowl Marathons as well as gifted painter, writer, and sculptor. Marcia found beauty and truth in all aspects of life. She was kind, caring and accepting of all and her love brought comfort and joy to all.
Marcia Silver is survived by her Husband, Stanley, her sons, Stanley Jr., Greg. and Cary. She adored all her grandchildren and great grandchild. Marcia is also survived by her sisters, Marilyn, and Sandra.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Marcia Silver’s life will be held on July 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel (835 Lee Road, Orlando, Florida 32810) with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend.
