On February 12, 2026, Dr. Stephen Bruce Seidler passed away at the age of 72 in Lake Mary, Florida, surrounded by his loving wife and kids.
Steve was born on April 23, 1953, to Walter & Pearl (Socal) Seidler in Cleveland, Ohio. He was raised in Cleveland before the family moved to Miami, Florida. Steve attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University. After dental school he served in the Navy before starting his private practice.
Steve was a highly respected dentist and entrepreneur. Throughout his career, he opened multiple dental practices and successfully grew them with a sense of pristine vision and discipline. He was an exceptional clinician, but an even stronger leader and businessman. His strong work ethic, steadfast composure, and relentless positivity set him apart, and he took great pride in building something meaningful for his family and those around him.
He was married to Lucy (Leiman) Seidler, the love of his life. Together they built a life rooted in family, strength, and devotion. Steve was a sturdy, caring, and generous husband and father who led by example. He never needed to be the center of attention, yet he was deeply respected and admired by all who knew him. He was well known for his contagious smile that would light up the room and he always had a positive attitude towards life.
Steve loved sports and was a devoted fan of the Florida Gators, Miami Dolphins, Orlando Magic, and Cleveland Indians. He had a passion for cars, golf, and staying active. He had an endless curiosity that kept him forever learning new things. His presence was steady and reassuring, and his impact on others was lasting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy; his children, Dara, Aimee, and Randy; his son-in-law, George, and daughter-in-law, Sarah; his brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Nancy; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Skyler.
