Irving Esner, passed away January 2, 2020, after a long illness. Irving was born on May 31, 1933, to Reuben and Sadie Esner of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1955, with a degree in Pharmacy. Upon graduation, Irving
was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He was the Medical Supply Officer at the Harlingen Texas Air Force Base.
After serving his country, he began a thirty year career with Eli Lily as a pharmaceutical rep. He retired at fifty-six to enjoy life and travel with his wife Carol of 42 years. He is survived by his two sisters Lillian Kalan, Tappan NY and Harriette Feuerman
of Boston; Daughters Jodi Jones, NY; Heidi Lennick, Allentown PA, Desiree Slone (Louis) of Casselberry FL and Carolann Dooley (Blaine) of Oakland FL. JoAnn Barody predeceased him. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Ben, Sarah, Nikki, Jaden, Madeline
and three great granddaughters Emma, Megan, Reese. May you always watch over us. Your loving wife, Carol
