It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rachael Morgan Cain on May 13, 2023. Rachael was a cherished daughter, sister, grandchild and friend, whose radiant spirit and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She left this world far too soon, but her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
Rachael was born on June 23, 1993. She was the oldest child of Lauren and Zoe Cain. From a young age, she displayed an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for theater and stage. She was a talented singer, actress and comedian. Rachael moved to New York after graduating from the University of Florida to pursue a career in the arts and is known in the community as “Rose Morgan.”
As a performer with a promising future, Rachael's passion for her work was evident in her art. She possessed an innate ability to inspire and guide by living in the moment. Outside her professional life, Rachael was a devoted friend to all of those who surrounded her. She embraced each moment with boundless love, humor, and joy. Whether it was exploring the stage, sharing laughter over meals, or supporting her friends and family, Rachael's presence was a source of comfort and encouragement. Rachael had a deep love for travel and adventure. She studied abroad in Italy and Israel and travelled often to Europe, Asia and beyond.
Rachael was preceded in death by Michael Cain, Mira Strauss and David Buchine, her loving and doting grandparents.
Her loss is deeply felt by her parents who nurtured her dreams and admired her unwavering determination. Rachael's brother, Ben, shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, built on love, laughter, and shared experiences. In addition to her parents and brother, Rachael is survived by her grandmother Trudy Buchine, grandfather Gary Harris and her long-term boyfriend Thomas Krapin. Rachael cherished her family and filled their lives with warmth and love.
Rachael leaves behind a legacy of passion, incredible talent, and love that will continue to inspire and guide us. She taught us to be present and live in the moment every day. Her memory will forever be a beacon of light in our lives.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Pavilion of Ohev Shalom Cemetery, (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando) where friends and family will gather to celebrate Rachael's life and bid her a heartfelt farewell.
