Mr. Gerald Rein, 88, of Leesburg, Florida passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the Frank & Helen DeScipio Hospice House following a brief illness. Mr. Rein was born July 1, 1938 in Washington, District of Columbia to the late Joseph & Adele (Maizel) Rein of blessed memory. He retired from RCA and moved to the Leesburg area in 2006 from Maryland and was a proud United States Air Force veteran

Mr. Rein is survived by his loving wife of 68 years; Beverly (Wolin) Rein of Leesburg, Florida; his devoted daughter; Ellen (Jeffrey) Goldman of Lake Mary, Florida and his cherished grandsons; Joshua Goldman, Jordan Goldman and Jeremy Goldman all of Lake Mary, Florida.

Funeral Service for Mr. Rein will be held 1:30 PM, Monday, November 2, 2026 in the Jacob "Yank" Frank Memorial Chapel at Temple Israel Cemetery (9200 Morton Jones Road, Gotha, FL) with Rabbi Jeff Chaitoff of Vitas Hospice officiating. Interment will follow at Congregation of Reform Judaism Cemetery, Gotha, Florida. May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.
