Michael Jay Moskowitz passed away on April 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with a chronic condition. He is now pain free and in heaven.
Born September 28, 1976, in Red Bank, New Jersey, Michael was a graduate of Gaither High School, Class of 1994 and then attended Hillsbrough Community College. Michael’s career included more than fifteen years with the finance management arm of Macy’s and later with Winn Dixie.
Those who knew Michael will remember his marathon phone calls with friends and family as well as his love for animals and his passion for cruising – completing 37 voyages. Bella, his four-legged buddy will miss him forever.
Although Michael’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us.
Michael is survived by his devoted husband, John Fisher, Orlando, Florida; his loving parents, Gary & Marjorie Moskowitz of Tampa, Florida; his brother, Scott (Aimee) Moskowitz of Tampa, Florida; and their daughter Mia Moskowitz of Tampa, Florida.
A remembrance gathering will be planned at a later date by the family. Many thanks to Cornerstone Hospice Center, Orlando. May Michael rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.
Service entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 933 Lee Road, Suite 101, Orlando, Florida 407-599-1180.
