Bernice Davids of Longwood, Florida passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 3 1930 she was the last surviving child of Tillie and Louis Kornick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Davids.
She is survived by her children: Dr. Mark (Debbie) Davids of Longwood, Florida, Enid (Michael) Rudney of Havertown, Pennsylvania, and Idelle Davids of Asheville, North Carolina. She was the proud grandmother of Aaron (Gabriella) and Benjamin and the very proud great-grandmother of Jonah.
Bernice, along with Joseph, were enthusiastic supporters of Jewish Pavilion Senior Services (JPSS) having been honored as Volunteers of the Year. A consummate homemaker, she worked for years at Jacobsen’s on Park Avenue in Winter Park in the childrens’ clothing department and later at Tugboat and the Bird. She will be remembered by the residents and staff at Cascades Heights for her stylish flair and never stepping out without looking her best.

Graveside Service for Mrs. Davids will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi Joshua Neely of Temple Israel officiating. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
