Linda Mayer, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and a resident of Village on the Green in Longwood Florida passed away on Sunday, April 7 2024 at the age of 81. Linda was born in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Longwood Florida after enjoying 65 years living in the mid Hudson valley in New York. She is survived by her husband Gary, her children Susan (Robert) Zimmon and Bill (Melissa) Mayer as well as her grandchildren Jessica, Sam, Sabrina, and Melissa.

Linda was an avid cook and baker and she loved to entertain. She was also passionate about researching her genealogy. Linda, along with her husband Gary were well known in the mid Hudson valley for several successful businesses including Appetite Control Centers, Culinary Diet Shoppe, A Copy A Second, and Dutchess Blueprint.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando) with Rabbi Geoffrey Spector of Congregation Ohev Shalom officiating.

Shiva minion will be held at the home of her daughter Susan Zimmon on Tuesday evening at 7:30 and again at the home of her husband Gary Mayer on Wednesday evening at 7:30 at 470 Village Place apt D316.

Memorial Donations to honor Linda can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. May Linda’s memory be a blessing and may she be at peace.
