Louise Samara Brown, 74, of Longwood, FL, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was born on August 23rd, 1950 in Patterson, New Jersey. Her parents were entrepreneurs who backed numerous ventures on both Broadway and in the Catskills. Through their work, she ran into many stars of the day, including Gene Kelly, Vincent Price, Don Ameche, Ray Charles, and Tito Puente.

She met Philip Brown, the love of her life, at a singles dance that her family organized when Philip tripped and fell into her lap. She brought Philip home to meet her parents and when her mother Marian saw Philip eating burnt toast, she quipped, "Marry him! If he eats that he'll love anything you make."

Louise is remembered for her, kindness, her wisdom about life, her exaggeratedly entertaining stories, and her ability to disseminate family news at the speed of T-Mobile. She was known to enjoy a good joke and occasionally show up at family weddings in full cosplay. At her height, she made a Passover Seder like nobody's business. She was a stage-three ovarian cancer survivor.

Louise was the matriarch of her family and is survived by Philip Brown, her husband of 53 years that were each marked by love, happy memories, and laughter. Her two brothers and spouses are Mark Kushner and Arlene Kushner of blessed memory and Lloyd and Cindy Kushner. Her children and their spouses include, Lisa Kasiman, Jessica and Joshua Kane, Melissa Breault, David and Bonnie Brown, and Mariel and Eric Guider. Her grandchildren include Sean Luzunaris of blessed memory, Matthew Luzunaris, Jordan and Alex Kane, Bella and Hunter Breault, Mia and Leo Brown, and Kalvin and Oliver Guider. Her great grandchildren are Liam and Eden Luzunaris.

Graveside Service will be Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Rd, Orlando) with Rabbi David Kay officiating. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
