It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mom, Sandra Silfen on April 20, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. She died peacefully in her sleep wearing her favorite bright red Minnie Mouse grandma nightgown! Our mom was known for her quick wit, mean poker game, strong personality, and devotion to her family. She took care of our dad for 20 years after he got sick. Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Michael Silfen, her parents, Ben & Sophia (Kramer) Blumberg, and her sister, Sheila all of blessed memory.

Mrs. Silfen is survived by her children, Jill Silfen of Winter Garden, Florida, Mona Silfen (Vernon Spinner) of Mahopac, New York and Neil Silfen of Deerfield Beach, Florida and her beloved grandsons, Shane Roland and Ryan Silfen.

A private family celebration of life will be held in her honor. The family will be sitting shiva (immediate family only) this week in Florida. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
