Mrs. Sandy Hahn, 88, of Maitland, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Ambiance at Maitland following a brief illness. Mrs. Hahn was born March 4, 1938 in New York, New York to the late Harry & Ethel (Kimmel) Linder. She was a retired Events Coordinator for Public Television and moved to the Orlando area in 2017 from Tampa, Florida.
Sandy Hahn was a loving mother of three boys and a devoted wife. She was a lover of sports, music, art, literature, and most of all her family and friends. She worked tirelessly to ensure everyone in her life had what they needed. She always waited until everyone else got to eat before she did. Neither me, nor any of my brothers ever missed a sports practice or school event. She took care of my ailing father through cancer at the expense of her own mental and physical health. She was the embodiment of a mother’s love and continued to champion those she loved up until her last breath. The beauty and ferocity of her love eventually could not be contained within her, and when she passed it unleashed a cold front upon Florida in the month of June.
Mrs. Hahn is survived by her 3 devoted sons; Eric Hahn of Orlando, Florida, Mike (Fran) Shaw of Naples, Florida and Danny (Sherry) Shaw of Jacksonville, Florida, beloved grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In keep with Mrs. Hahn wishes she will be buried with her beloved husband Hillel Hahn of blessed memory at Arlington National Cemetery.
Service entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 933 Lee Road, Suite 101, Orlando, Florida 407-599-1180.
