Ms. Rona Snyder, 86, Winter Springs, Florida peacefully passed away on Friday July 15, 2022. Rona was born on December 30, 1935 in Easton, Maryland to the late Benjamin & Yetta (Farber) Snyder.
She held several jobs, including secretary of Head of Nursing at Easton Hospital, medical librarian at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD; secretary to the President of Loyola Federal Savings and Loan in Easton, MD, and part time manager for the Seminole County (Florida) Medical Society for 25 years.
A defining aspect of Rona was her closeness with her two sisters, Esther Cohen & Sara Epstein, both predeceased Rona. Esther passed away in 2004 at age 76 and Sara passed away earlier this year at 102. Rona also is predeceased by her niece Sharon Butler who passed away from cancer in 2016.
Rona had a love for animals, especially cats, Rona has had many cats throughout her lifetime and love them all as her family.
She is survived by her nieces; Rheda Epstein, Adrienne (Paul) Brothers, Fran (Leonard) Goldschmidt; nephew, David (Michele) Cohen; great nieces; Jennifer (John) Aguilar, Caitlin (Jason) Litt, and Lindsey Cohen; great nephews; Jason Goldschmidt, Eric Goldschmidt and Joshua Butler; great great nephews; Jacob Butler, Landon Solia, Gavin Aguilar, Cameron Litt and many others near and far.
Rona was a dedicated daughter, loving sister, caring aunt and a wonderful friend to many.
Graveside Services for Rona will be held at Congregation Keneseth Israel Cemetery in Annapolis, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers the family request making donations toward any local animal shelter or pet rescue in memory of Rona.
