Ms. Susan Morgan, 65, of Sanford, Florida passed away surrounded by love and family on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Advent Health Hospice in Altamonte Springs following complications related to stomach cancer. Ms. Morgan was born December 19, 1960 in Poughkeepsie, New York.

She moved to Florida in the 1980s, where she worked as a Social Worker in many capacities - including Jewish Family Services, an Eating Disorder clinic, Suicide Prevention, and later with the Veterans Administration.

She received her Bachelors degree at SUNY - Plattsburgh and then received her Masters in Social Work at University of South Florida after moving to Florida. She enjoyed cooking, crafts (especially tie-dye), books, good food, television, music, concerts and spending time with her loved ones, whether that be friends or family.

She had the biggest heart, and touched so many lives. Her legacy has already passed so many lifetimes. Ms. Morgan moved to the St. Cloud, Florida area in 2025 from Washington State to work at the Lake Nona Veterans Administration. She later retired in July 2026.

Ms. Morgan is survived her daughter; Ilene (Brianna Kegelman) Morgan of Sanford, Florida; son, David (Rebecca Proenza) Morgan of Tampa, Florida; mother, Helene Rosenberg of Sarasota, Florida; sister, Ellen (Robert) Rosen of Yardley, Pennsylvania and her brother, Seth (Susan) Rosenberg of Sarasota, Florida.

Graveside Service for Ms. Morgan will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi Yanky Majesky of Chabad-Lubavitch of North Orlando officiating. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
