Roger L. Featherston, age 80, of Winter Park, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, October 21, 2019. A native of Lockbourne, Ohio, Roger was born on June 18, 1939, to the late C.D. and Vera Featherston.
Following high school, Roger served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Upon completing his Service commitment, he entered the workforce and spent many years as a salesman in the Food and Beverage industry. He relocated to the Orlando area from Ohio in 1974. On May 11, 1989, in Orlando, he married the former Judith Schulman Paul, his wife of over 30 years who survives him. He is also survived by his son Keith (Sandra) Featherston of Casselberry and his daughter, Rebecca Lynn (Rick) Wirthman of Ohio. He was the proud grandfather of Steven, Samantha and Ross. A funeral service, with military honors, will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Maurice Kaprow of VITAS officiating. A private burial will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims.
