Selma Lebowitz Barocas, 89, of Orlando, died Saturday, April 23, 2022. Mrs. Barocas was born September 18, 1932, in Manhattan, New York, to the late Max and Sylvia Lebowitz. She married Morris ("Murray") Barocas in 1952. The two of them ran a paint store in Newburgh, New York for many years together. She and her family moved to the Orlando area in 1980 from New York.

Mrs. Barocas is survived by her son, Jerry Barocas, of Dunedin FL; her daughter, Renee (Barocas) Schiller, of Winter Park FL; her grandsons Colin Barocas of Largo FL; Samuel Schiller of Sanford FL, Max Schiller of Albuquerque NM, her granddaughters Sara (Barocas) Kilborn of St Petersburg FL, Megan (Barocas) Landis of Palm Harbor FL; her sister Ettie (Lebowitz) Shapiro of Brooklyn NY, and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Congregation of Reform Judaism Cemetery.
