Barbara Gaterbaum Kosstrin, age 67, of Altamonte Springs, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, September 20, 2019, at AdventHealth Hospice in Altamonte Springs. She was born on December 11, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Jose and Tauba Frejman Gaterbaum.

Barbara earned her Master's degree and was an elementary school teacher for many years.

She is survived by her sons, David (Lauren) Weisz of Sanford and Lee (Talya) Kosstrin of Altamonte Springs and two grandchildren, Aryana and Joseph. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. Carl Gaterbaum, of Maitland.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 12 Noon, in the Pavilion at Ohev Shalom Cemetery, 6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, with Rabbi Orrin Krublit of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation officiating.
