Barry S. Broskowitz, age 70, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford. A Brooklyn native, he was born on May 12, 1948, to the late Solomon and Beatrice Grodsky Broskowitz.
Barry was a graduate of City University of New York, earning a Masters in Computer Science. On June 22, 1969, in Manhattan, he married the former Cora Olzman, his wife of nearly fifty years who survives him. The family relocated to the Orlando area from New Jersey in 1984. Barry was the owner/operator of a computer consulting company.
Surviving Barry are his wife, Cora, of Sanford; his son Allan Broskowitz of Massachusetts and his daughter, Stacey "Sou" (Bill) MacMillan of Massachusetts. He is also survived by his sister, Sara Bierman, of New Jersey and his grandson, Liberty, and granddaughters Ella-Jean and Olivia-Jean.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 10:30 AM at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 640 Lee Road, Orlando, with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating.
