Bernard Rosen, age 83, of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was born on August 14, 1935 and was the son of the late Abraham Augustus Rosen and the late Selma Rosenholtz Rosen. A high school graduate, he enlisted in the US Air Force, serving as an aircraft mechanic. Following his military service, he worked as a Technical Writer for the US Government. He relocated to the Orlando area from Tampa in 2010. Mr. Rosen is survived by his son, Donald (Alison) Rosen of Ashburn VA; and his daughters Meryl (Andrew) Wolf of Crofton MD; Lori (Alex) Eisen of Gentilly VA and Suzanne (Daniel) Simson of Gainesville VA; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Elaine. A graveside service was held at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont NY.
