Dr. Ronald S. Posner was born February 22, 1943 in Burbank, CA as the oldest of three boys born to Abraham Posner and Rose Block.

He is survived by his wife Jill, his two brothers Fred and Harris, his two sons Donny and Jonathan (Tricia), his two daughters Allison (Eli Bolin) and Meredith (Matt Schuh) and six grandchildren, Jacob, Mila, Walter, Harry, Carter and Amelia.

Dr. Posner received his education at UCLA in Los Angeles, earning a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. He moved to Burlington, MA to work for Raytheon and met his wife Jill at Microwave Associates in Burlington; they married in 1981. Ron was the President and CEO of Ocala’s Antennas For Communications and traveled extensively for business and pleasure. Ron loved visiting his grandchildren on both coasts, work, sci-fi, sailing, a good meal, and single malt scotch.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are welcomed at the Ocala Civic Theater or the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
