Gloria Goldberg, age 84, of Longwood, Florida, peacefully passed awy at her home of more than 43 years on January 14, 2022. A Native of Brooklyn, New York, she was born on March 17, 1937, to the late Samuel and Dora Tabachnick. Tiny in stature, Gloria was a Maternal Powerhouse to all she touched.
On March 22, 1958, Gloria Tabachnick gave her heart and soul to Paul Goldberg, a physicist in electrical engineering and became Gloria Goldberg. In 1978, the Goldbergs, with their three young children, moved to Florida. Gloria spent 58 blessed years as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; yet through it all found time to work and help her family. Her career journey included being the unofficial "Welcome Wagon Woman" in her neighborhood, and decades as a successful real estate agent.
Gloria is survived by her sister, Iris; daughters Debbie and Amy, along with a son, Les and his wife Julie; and nine wonderful grandchildren (Brad, Blake, Lora, Jeremy, Sydney, Lindsey, Connor, Bryan and Hunter).
There's a Jewish Proverb that says: "Mothers understand what their children cannot say." There truly are no words to describe how much your tiny body and giant presence will be missed by all ... It is something only a mom could understand.
