Mrs. Hannah B. Glaser, 92, formerly of Pikesville, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021 in Orlando, FL.
Hannah was born in Baltimore, MD to Morris and Rose (Berlowitz) Biller on August 22, 1929. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree in Education from Towson State College. Hannah worked as a Social Studies Teacher at Northwestern High School for many years. An avid reader, she loved crossword puzzles and played Scrabble daily before dinner with her husband. After her retirement, Hannah was a volunteer at Sinai Hospital and at Meals on Wheels where she assisted in the delivery of meals. She enjoyed watching television shows like Jeopardy and MAS*H. Classic movies were her favorite - especially ones featuring Greer Garson.
Hannah is preceded in death by her husband Abraham Glaser of Pikesville; her parents Morris and Rose Biller of Baltimore; her sister Eleanor (Biller) Troy of Prince Georges, MD; and her brother Ronald Biller of Baltimore.
Hannah is survived by her sister Shirley Susman of Chicago, IL; her sons, Seth Eisenberg (wife Regina) of Pikesville, MD and Jonathan Eisenberg (husband Karl) of Orlando, FL and daughter Karen Glaser of Pikesville. grandchildren Alexander Eisenberg of Pikesville; Johanna Eisenberg of Pikesville, Sara Reisberg (husband Joshua) of Sea Cliff, NY; Matthew Glaser of Baltimore; great grandchildren Abby and Dylan Reisberg of Sea Cliff; several nieces and nephews; and some dear friends.
The family appreciates the kind attention of the staff at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel in Orlando. Funeral service will be held at Sol Levinson & Bros. Funeral Home, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Rabbi Kim Blumenthal of Bet Chaverim officiating. Masks will be required for the service. Burial will follow at Anshe Emunah Aitz Chaim Cemetery, 3901 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227. Shiva will be held at 201 Old Crossing Drive, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Thursday, September 30, 2021 after burial. The family respectfully requests that only those who have been fully vaccinated attend shiva in person. Masks will be required.
