Harry Starr, age 96, of Lake Mary, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs. Mr. Starr was born in Kansas City, Kansas, on October 10, 1922, the only child of the late Aaron and Lena Schklarchik. Harry graduated high school and was a Navy veteran, having served in World War II. He was married to the late Rose Starr for 50 years and worked as a traveling salesman for women's clothing . A long time resident of Dallas, Harry was proud of his 60 year membership in Congregation Shearith Israel.

Mr. Starr is survived by his daughter, Shelley (Jonathan) Sundheim of Oviedo; his grandchildren Adam Sundheim of Tampa, Joshua (Allison) Sundheim of Atlanta, Dr. Jason (Raena) Starr of Jacksonville and Eric Starr of Ft. Lauderdale and his great-grandchildren Emma, Jacob and Eli. He was predeceased by his son, Alan Starr.

Funeral services and interment will take place at Shearith Israel Cemetery, Dallas.
