Howard David Levinsky, age 93, of Longwood, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Howard was born to the late Abraham and Esther Gulko Levinsky, on December 28, 1926. Following high school, he served in the United States Army, earning the rank of Technical Sergeant. After his separation from the Army, Howard attended Wayne State University, earning a Master's degree in Pharmacology.
Oh November 1, 1953, in Buffalo, New York, he married the former Leah Monkarsh, his wife of nearly 67 years, who survives him. They made their home in Detroit, relocating to the Orlando area in 1989.
In addition to his wife, Howard is survived by his daughters, Barbara Levinsky of Michigan, Sharan (Richard) Schwartz of Maitland, and Abby (Eric) Randolph of West Bloomfield MI. He was the proud grandfather to Jordan Schwartz, Beth Schwartz, Josh (Megan) Randolph, Jessica Randolph and Halle Randolph. He had the honor of being a great-grandfather to Hannah Rudolph.
Funeral services and interment will take place at Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale MI.
