Dr. Jonathan Ben Rodin, age 53, of Rockledge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Dr. Jay Pillai Center for Hospice at Wasdin Woods in Rockledge, surrounded by his family.

Dr. Rodin, or "Benny", as he was known to family and friends, was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on December 6, 1966, to Dr. Tibor Rodin and the late Cvia Neuerman Rodin. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. Dr. Rodin worked for over 20 years in his field in the Atlanta area.

He was predeceased by his mother, Cvia, in 2016, and his survived by his father, Dr. Tibor Rodin of Rockledge, his brother Moses, sister Natalie and their families. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, at 11 AM in the Pavilion at Ohev Shalom Cemetery, 6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, with Rabbi Joel Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Shiva will be observed 3 PM at the home of Dr. Tibor Rodin (321.613.8275).
