Miss Wendy Sharon Elkes, 53, passed away peacefully April 15, 2025 at her Maitland, Florida home following a brief illness. Miss Elkes was born June 12, 1971 in Lakewood, New Jersey with her family moving to the Orlando area in 1973. Miss Elkes is predeceased by her mother Barbara (Halpren) Elkes of blessed memory. Miss Elkes has been a teacher in the Seminole County School's for more than 25 years. She was a member of Congregation Ohev Shalom.

Miss Elkes is survived by her loving father, Edwin Elkes of Lake Mary, Florida; her devoted sons; Envy Elkes and Malachi Elkes both of Maitland, Florida; beloved brother; David (Nancy) Elkes of Tampa, Florida.

Funeral Services for Miss Elkes will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Burton & Barbara Chasnov Pavilion at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi Geoffrey Spector of Congregation Ohev Shalom officiating. May her memory always be a blessing and may she rest in peace.

Family will be sitting Shiva Sunday evening 8:00 PM and Monday 7:30 PM at the home of Judy Shujman.
