Mollie passed away peacefully in Orlando Florida at 92 years old. Mollie was born in Brooklyn, New York on 1/19/29. She was the devoted and loving wife of Morris "Morey" Solomon, the mother of four children and grandmother of eight. She is survived by her husband Morris, sister Annie Matza Nacht, son Harold Solomon, daughter Rochelle Solomon Berman (Steve Berman), son Martin Solomon and son David Solomon (Laura Solomon). Mollie is also survived by her 8 grandchildren Andrew Berman, Eric Berman, Gary Berman, Nicholas Solomon, Mark Solomon, Max Solomon, Rachel Solomon, Leah Solomon and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Max Matza and Rachel Coffino Matza. She was also predeceased by her brothers Samuel Matza, Hyman Matza, Milton (Cookie) Matza, and sisters Esther Matza Samuels, Rebecca (Betty) Matza Menahem and Ruth Matza Yamali.
Mollie was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and in December 1951 married Morris, her husband for over 69 years. In 1951 the couple settled in Burlington Vermont where they raised their four children until 1973 when the entire family of 6 relocated to Orlando Florida. During her working years, Mollie was an executive secretary in the banking industry where she utilized her expert typing and short-had skills. Her proof-reading skills were second to no one.
Mollie was a selfless and loving mother and grandmother and always put the needs and happiness of other above her own. She was a very simple person who didn't care about material things, but instead got her pleasure from the happiness of others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Private family services and burial will be held at Congregation of Reform Judaism Cemetery, Gotha, on Friday 10/1/21.
