Mrs. Leah (Lay-ah) Magath, 92, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at Orlando Health ORMC surrounded by her family following a brief illness. Mrs. Magath was born August 30, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late David & Rose (Singer) Franklin. She moved to the Orlando area in 2017 from New Jersey with her late husband Stanley Magath of blessed memory.

Mrs. Magath is survived by her devoted sons; Mark (Cindy) Magath of Winter Garden, Florida and Bruce (Hillary) Magath of Waretown, New Jersey; her cherished grandchildren; Derek, Nicole, Alex, Jordan and Ryan; great-grandchildren; Henry, Owen and Bella.

Graveside Service for Mrs. Magath will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi Shai Specht Sandler of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation officiating. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
